Family Time at Hillside Beach Club 11th– 17th September 2017
This September, Hillside Beach Club will launch their first ‘Family Time’ week with fun-filled events suitable for the whole family. From 11th – 17th September there are an array of complimentary artistic and interactive activities available, from terrarium workshops and chocolate making to canoe racing and movie nights.
The luxury 5-star resort located in Fethiye, Turkey, caters for children of all ages with a Baby Care and Kidside club, allowing parents to recharge their batteries while the smaller guests also get dedicated attention and become captivated by the activities on offer. Family Week aims to let parents and their children spend quality time together in the beautiful setting of Hillside Beach Club.
The terrarium workshop invites children to unleash their inner gardener and create a miniature ecosystem in glass bottles and shapes, introducing them to the wonders of the natural world. Following the workshop, the terrariums can be taken home as a memento of their holiday at Hillside Beach Club, and nurtured from the comfort of their own bedroom.
Budding, young artists can learn the about the art movements such as Cubism and Surrealism, and get to know their Andy Warhol’s from their Picasso’s, while painting their own work of art that can be taken away and hung proudly at home.
For the creative (and the hungry!), Hillside has delicious, foodie workshops from perfecting the art of pizza decorating to creating happy plates made from fruit and vegetables, shaped into their favourite characters, ensuring the little ones are kept both entertained and fed.
Families can enjoy a magical evening camping overnight at Silent Beach, gathered round a camp fire and playing games under the stars as well as watching their favourite films at ‘Family Movie Night’ on the water.
For the active families and water sports enthusiasts, guests can learn to water ski in the beautiful clear-water bay or race canoes to the shore! Alternatively, they can embark on tranquil cruise on the turquoise ocean to watch the breathtaking evening sunset with their loved ones.
After a day of exciting activities and excursions in the private bay, a festival of food will tantalise guests’ tastebuds, with full-board dining available in all three Hillside Beach Club restaurants, showcasing locally sourced, seasonal menus inspired by Turkish and Mediterranean specialties.
